Basic Rules (Common to All Facilities)
- Check-in: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
- Self check-in / check-out
- No smoking anywhere on the premises
- Pets are not allowed in the main building. Pets are only allowed in the annex (detached cottage).
- Free parking available
- Noise, loud music, parties, and any behavior that disturbs neighbors are prohibited
- Entry of unauthorized guests (non-registered guests) is prohibited
House Rules
Fujinoyama Bettei / Fujinoyama Bettei Annex (hereinafter referred to as “the Facility”) has established the following House Rules in accordance with Article 10 of the Accommodation Terms to ensure guests’ safety and comfort. Guests who fail to comply with these rules may be refused accommodation or use of the facility. Please note that the Facility cannot be held responsible for any accidents resulting from non-compliance with these rules.
1. Use of the Facility
- Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the facility.
- Please confirm the evacuation route map posted in the facility and the emergency exits on each floor.
- Please be sure to lock the door from the inside while in your room, especially when sleeping.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the facility, including balconies. (Smoking in front of the entrance or around the building is also strictly prohibited.)
- If smoking inside the facility is discovered, an additional cleaning fee of ¥20,000 will be charged.
- Please use the facility with the guests and number of people registered in the reservation. Accommodation by persons other than the reserved guests or use/stay with a different number of people is prohibited.
- In case of exceeding the number of guests, reservation with false numbers, or use/stay by persons other than those reserved, a penalty of twice the accommodation fee per person may be charged for the excess or false number.
- Do not use heating equipment, cooking fire, candles, etc. without permission from the Facility. Please use the cooking utensils provided for cooking inside the facility.
- Do not hang clothes on lampshades or dry laundry on them.
- Do not use the guest rooms for purposes other than accommodation (exhibitions, offices, etc.) without permission from the Facility.
- Noisy parties are strictly prohibited. Please be especially quiet between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM out of consideration for the neighborhood.
- Pet accommodation is only available in the annex. Please confirm that the accommodation facility selected at the time of reservation is the annex. If you mistakenly reserve the main building and arrive, you will not be able to stay. No refunds will be given in such cases.
- Do not take interior items or supplies (such as toilet paper) installed/provided in the facility.
- Please handle furniture, appliances, bedding, etc. in the facility with care. If any damage or soiling occurs, please notify us immediately.
- Compensation for damage or soiling of furniture, appliances, bedding, interior items, and supplies will be charged at the price of a new equivalent product.
- Soiling of furniture, bedding, or supplies due to vomiting, etc., will be charged a flat fee of ¥50,000 regardless of the reason.
- Do not move furniture, appliances, or supplies in the facility, or make alterations or modifications without permission from the Facility.
- Please separate garbage into “Combustible garbage,” “Non-combustible garbage,” “Cans,” “Bottles,” and “PET bottles” and place them in the garbage bins in the 1F kitchen.
- If the garbage bins in the 1F kitchen become full, please let us know and we will collect them.
- Please take home bulky items such as suitcases and strollers. If there are items left behind that cannot be disposed of as regular garbage, disposal fees will be charged.
- Face towels and bath towels are provided only in the initial quantity. If they become dirty, please wash them yourself. Additional charges will apply for additional or replacement towels.
- Please use the toilet while seated. Also, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Please flush after use.
- If the toilet pipe becomes clogged, you will be required to pay for the full cost of replacement, so please be careful.
- Please understand that long-term accommodation does not create any legal residential rights.
- When going out, please turn off air conditioners, TVs, lights, and other electrical appliances. Also, please be sure to lock the doors and windows before leaving.
- Accommodation by minors only is not permitted without parental consent.
- Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.
2. Regarding the Keypad of the Entrance Door Key Box
- Please be sure to lock the door when leaving the Facility during your stay.
- Do not share the keypad code for the entrance door key box with anyone other than the registered guests.
3. Regarding Payment
- Accommodation fees shall be paid in currency, or by accommodation vouchers, credit cards, or other methods accepted by the Facility, at the time of reservation or when the Facility requests payment.
- Payment by check or promissory note is not accepted.
- If payment is received from someone other than the staying guest, and payment is not made by the specified date, we will directly request payment from the staying guest.
- If charges arise from other service usage, please pay by the specified date.
4. Regarding Anti-Social Forces and Cases That May Violate Public Order and Morals
If guests are found to fall under any of the following categories, they will be immediately refused use and asked to leave the Facility. If such facts are discovered after reservation or during use, use will be refused at that point.
- If found to be a gang member, gang-related organization or associate, or other anti-social force
- If violence, threats, extortion, intimidating unreasonable demands, or similar acts are recognized
- Persons who have previously been notified of refusal of use by the Facility
- If gambling or acts that disturb public morals, or behavior that disturbs neighbors, occurs
- If unable to ensure personal safety due to mental exhaustion, drugs, or intoxication, or if there is a risk of causing danger, fear, or anxiety to neighbors
- If loud voices, singing, or noisy behavior in or near the Facility causes displeasure or trouble to others
- If any acts similar to the above occur
5. Prohibited Items and Acts
Prohibited Items
- Animals, birds, or other pets other than approved pets and service animals for persons with disabilities
- Gunpowder, gasoline, and other explosive or flammable materials
- Items that emit foul odors
- Items prohibited by law
Prohibited Acts
- Distribution of advertisements and promotional materials, sale of goods, solicitation, etc. without permission from the Facility
- Commercial photography, video recording, etc. without permission from the Facility
- Smoking outside designated smoking areas in and around the Facility
6. Changes to House Rules
- The Facility may change these rules at its discretion.
- When the Facility changes these rules, the fact of the change, the content of the revised rules, and the effective date will be posted on the Facility’s website at least one month before the effective date.
- If guests use the Facility’s services based on these rules after the effective date of the revised rules, they will be deemed to have agreed to the changes.
- The interpretation and validity of these rules shall be governed by Japanese law.
Terms of Use for the Annex (Pet-Friendly)
Dogs Allowed to Stay
- Small dogs (under 10 kg) and medium dogs (under 25 kg)
- Dogs that are kept clean indoors
- Dogs that have received rabies and infectious disease vaccinations within the past year, or have tested negative in antibody tests
- Dogs that are toilet trained (if not, please use manner belts, etc.)
- Dogs in heat are not allowed to stay
Rules for Staying in the Facility
- Please be sure to inform us of the breed and number of dogs when making a reservation. There is no specific limit on the number of dogs, but considering the room size, approximately 3 small dogs or 2 medium or larger dogs would be the limit.
- Please use the designated toilet area.
- Please clean your dog’s paws before entering the room.
- If your dog has a toilet accident or marks, please clean it up immediately and notify the host at check-out.
- Please place used toilet sheets and waste in bags and dispose of them in the designated garbage bin.
- Please note that charges may apply for damage or soiling of furniture and supplies caused by dogs.
- Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death of dogs in the premises or facility due to force majeure.
- If leaving your dog alone in the room, please put them in a crate for safety. Please do not leave your dog alone for extended periods.
- Please do not allow dogs on beds or futons.
- Brushing indoors and shampooing in the bathroom are not permitted.
- Dog bedding is not provided.
- Please bring your dog’s food and toilet sheets.
- The only area where dogs can be off-leash is indoors. The parking lot and garden are shared with other guests, so please keep your dog on a leash or carry them.
- Please shampoo your dog 2-3 days before your stay.

Accommodation Terms
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- The accommodation contract and related contracts concluded between Fujinoyama Bettei / Fujinoyama Bettei Annex (hereinafter referred to as “the Facility”) and guests shall be governed by these Terms. Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by laws and generally established customs.
- When the Facility agrees to special arrangements within the scope of laws and customs, such special arrangements shall take precedence over the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)
- Persons wishing to apply for an accommodation contract with the Facility shall provide the following information:
- Names of all staying guests (for foreign nationals: names, addresses, contact information, nationality, and passport numbers for all guests)
- Accommodation dates and estimated arrival time
- Agreement to accommodation fees
- Other matters deemed necessary by the Facility
- If a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the dates specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during their stay, the Facility will treat this as a new accommodation contract application made at the time of the request.
Article 3 (Establishment of Accommodation Contract)
- The accommodation contract shall be established when the Facility accepts the application under Article 2. However, this does not apply when the Facility proves that it did not accept the application.
- When an accommodation contract is established as per the preceding paragraph, a deposit up to the accommodation fees for the contracted period shall be paid by the date specified by the Facility.
- The deposit shall first be applied to the accommodation fees ultimately payable by the guest, and in the event of circumstances under Articles 6 and 18, shall be applied in the order of penalty followed by compensation, with any remainder returned at the time of fee payment under Article 12.
- If the deposit is not paid by the date specified by the Facility under paragraph 2, the accommodation contract shall become void. However, this applies only when the Facility notifies the guest of this when specifying the payment date.
Article 4 (Special Agreement Not Requiring Deposit Payment)
- Notwithstanding Article 3, paragraph 2, the Facility may agree to a special arrangement not requiring deposit payment after the contract is established.
- If the Facility does not request the deposit under Article 3, paragraph 2, or does not specify a payment date when accepting the accommodation application, it shall be treated as having agreed to the special arrangement in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 (Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract)
The Facility may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
- When the application does not conform to these Terms.
- When rooms are fully booked.
- When there is a risk that the person seeking accommodation may engage in acts that violate laws, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.
- When the person seeking accommodation is recognized as falling under any of the following:
- a. A gang as defined in Article 2, paragraph 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members, a gang member as defined in Article 2, paragraph 6, a quasi-gang member, a gang associate, or other anti-social force
- b. A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by a gang or gang member
- c. A corporation with officers who are gang members
- When there is a risk that the person seeking accommodation may cause significant trouble to other guests.
- When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
- When violent demands are made or unreasonable burdens are demanded in connection with the accommodation.
- When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility failures, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 6 (Guest’s Right to Cancel Contract)
- Guests may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Facility.
- When a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest, the Facility will charge cancellation fees as specified in the Cancellation Policy.
- If a guest does not arrive by 12:00 AM (midnight) on the day of accommodation without contact (or 3 hours after the stated expected arrival time if one was specified), the Facility may treat the accommodation contract as canceled by the guest.
Article 7 (Facility’s Right to Cancel Contract)
The Facility may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
- When there is a risk that the guest may engage in, or has engaged in, acts that violate laws, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.
- When the guest is recognized as being an anti-social force.
- When the guest has engaged in behavior that causes significant trouble to other guests.
- When the guest is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
- When violent demands are made or unreasonable burdens are demanded in connection with the accommodation.
- When accommodation cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
- When the person seeking accommodation appears likely to cause trouble to other guests due to intoxication.
- When smoking in bed, tampering with fire prevention equipment, or failing to comply with prohibitions in the House Rules established by the Facility.
Article 8 (Accommodation Registration)
Guests shall register the following information through the online system by the day of accommodation:
- Guest’s name, age, gender, address, and occupation
- For Japanese nationals: photo ID; for foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, port of entry, and date of entry
- Departure date and estimated departure time
- Other matters deemed necessary by the Facility
Article 9 (Room Usage Hours)
- Guests may use the guest rooms from 4:00 PM to 11:00 AM the following morning. However, for consecutive stays, rooms may be used all day except on arrival and departure days.
- The Facility may allow room usage outside these hours. In such cases, the following additional fees will be charged:
- Up to 3 hours overtime: 1/3 of the accommodation fee
- Up to 6 hours overtime: 1/2 of the accommodation fee
- Over 6 hours overtime: Full accommodation fee
Article 10 (Compliance with House Rules)
Guests shall comply with the House Rules established by the Facility and posted in the facility or on the Facility’s website.
Article 11 (Entry into Rooms)
The Facility management may enter rooms without guest consent when deemed necessary for confirming guest safety or for facility management and fire prevention purposes.
Article 12 (Payment of Fees)
Payment of accommodation fees by guests shall be made in currency, or by accommodation vouchers, credit cards, or other methods accepted by the Facility, at the time of reservation or when the Facility requests payment.
Article 13 (Facility’s Liability and Disclaimer)
- The Facility shall compensate for damages caused to guests in the performance of, or failure to perform, the accommodation contract and related contracts. However, this does not apply when such damages are not attributable to the Facility.
Article 14 (Handling When Contracted Room Cannot Be Provided)
When the Facility cannot provide the contracted room to a guest, it shall, with the guest’s consent, arrange alternative accommodation at another facility with conditions as similar as possible.
Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Items)
The Facility does not handle deposited items. Regarding items, cash, and valuables brought into the Facility by guests, the Facility shall compensate for damages such as loss or damage caused by the Facility’s intentional or gross negligence.
Article 16 (Storage of Guest’s Baggage or Personal Items)
- The Facility does not store guest baggage.
- If guest’s baggage or personal items are left behind after check-out, and there are no instructions from the owner or the owner is unknown, they will be stored for 7 days including the day of discovery and then disposed of.
Article 17 (Guest’s Liability)
When the Facility suffers damage due to the intentional or negligent acts of a guest, the guest shall be obligated to compensate the Facility for such damage.
Article 18 (Governing Law)
The interpretation and validity of accommodation contracts based on these Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.
Article 19 (Consultation)
If problems arise regarding use of the Facility that cannot be resolved by these Terms, the Facility and the guest shall resolve them through sincere discussion.
Article 20 (Amendment of Terms)
- The Facility may amend these Terms at its discretion.
- When the Facility amends these Terms, the fact of the amendment, the content of the amended Terms, and the effective date will be posted on the Facility’s website at least one month before the effective date.
Article 21 (Agreed Jurisdiction)
The guest and the Facility agree that the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance for any litigation arising from the accommodation contract and related contracts based on these Terms.
